SHARE A MEMORY

One of the beautiful things about Alistair is that he was so many different things to so many different people. He had close friends from all different walks of life!

If you have any favorite memories with him, or stories you would like to share about your time with him, please share with us! Big stories or small, everyday stories -- every moment is special. We will be collecting these for the memorial service. Photos and videos are very welcome too!

I went to high school with Alistair. He used to sit in the library and read the paper. I remember thinking, “that dude’s cool.” Eventually we worked at the video store together. What up TLA. He kept catching shit for taking the new releases. But he couldn’t help it. Dude just loved movies too much. At one point we attempted to write a screenplay together. It didn’t get far. It was a horror movie and the opening scene was a memory told through a dream sequence. But I kept insisting we put the date in. So you knew it happened years before the movie started. Legrand was like, “dreams don’t have dates.” I was all, “this one could though.” And he was all, “that don’t make sense.” We went back and forth like that for a while while chain smoking like 50 cigarettes. Rest easy Alistair. I’m glad you got tell some of your stories. I’m we sad won’t get more.
